Fall Engagement Session at Rasar State Park

Fall Engagement Session at Rasar State Park

Rasar State Park in the North Cascades in Washington was the perfect backdrop for this fall engagement session. With wide open fields, mountain views in the distance, and a peaceful riverbank, it offered a mix of stunning scenery and relaxed moments.

We started in the open field, taking advantage of the natural light and the vast landscape, with sprawling views of the rolling hills in the distance. These two were so comfortable with each other, they made incorporating movement feel so natural, making for candid, unposed engagement photos that felt effortless and real. As the sun set, we headed to the river, where the sky turned golden, reflecting off the water. It was the perfect way to wrap up the session - simple, natural, and beautiful.

We did a trial run of the “jump into his arms and kiss” and he was not satisfied with the smoothness of his first lift. So, second time around he was fully committed and it turned out great. 10 out of 10 - The Notebook-style kiss.

Rasar State Park is a great option for couples looking for outdoor engagement photos with a mix of open spaces and scenic water views. It’s easily accessible and offers a variety of backdrops, making it a great location for Pacific Northwest engagement photography.
