Romantic Long Island Engagement

I took the ferry over to Long Island and spent the afternoon editing in a Starbucks, people watching and watching the beach goers filter in and out. About an hour before sunset I met up with these two and they picked me up in their jeep and drove to her parent’s oceanfront property. Gorgeous, right? This scenic Long Island beach offered the perfect setting for timeless and romantic engagement photos. When we headed to the bigger beach down the street, they took almost zero convincing to splash around in the water (my favorite) and we got some gorgeous golden light coming off of the water. It was very much giving The Summer I Turned Pretty vibes. Though we were short on time with the sun setting on us, this little mini session delivered an embodiment of the essence of a summer beach romance. From ferry rides to sandy toes, every frame tells a beautiful love story by the sea—a perfect example of how we capture authentic moments for our couples.
